NIT ACCOUNTABILITY BUDDIES AND HOURS UPDATE

I hope your second weekend of training went well and you are excited for your last weekend coming up! I have two topics I want to touch base on. Your accountability buddies (AB buddies) and your hour requirements. 

Introducing Accountability Buddies (ABs)

What exactly are Accountability Buddies (ABs)? It’s just as the name suggests! We encourage each of you to form groups of 3 in your cohort to help stay on track with your goals and support one another. These groups aren’t meant to add any pressure but to help build a sense of community throughout your training journey.

We understand that everyone is on their own unique timeline, and as daily life demands your attention, it can sometimes be challenging to complete all your required hours. That’s where your ABs come in! Whether it’s teaming up for practice teaching, attending classes together, or simply checking in every few weeks (maybe grab coffee and review topics you are struggling with), your ABs will help you stay accountable and feel more connected through the process.

Next training weekend, we encourage you to choose your ABs. If you feel comfortable, exchange phone numbers for easy communication. If not, emails or any preferred method will work just as well. Please have one person from each group send me an email so I can keep track of everyone’s ABs

18 Self-Study Hours
These hours are an estimate of how long it will take to review the online material in full. These hours do not need to be tracked!

18 Observation Hours
You have 10 observation hours included with your training at Niche. As outlined in your welcome packet, please text the Niche phone at 804-254-4141 at least 24 hours in advance so we can notify the instructor.

• Phones are not permitted in the classroom.

• You may take notes on a laptop or in a notebook.

• Please refrain from asking questions while clients are present.

• If you'd like to speak with the instructor afterward, please check with them first to ensure they have time. If they're unavailable due to back-to-back classes or other commitments, you can email your questions to Education@nichefitstudio.com.

• You can also save questions for virtual discussions so the whole cohort benefits from the conversation.

Personal Practice Hours
If you pair up with someone in your cohort, the person teaching counts that hour as a practice teaching hour, while the other can count it as personal practice.

As a reminder pairing up with cohort members is not the only way for you to get personal practice hours in. Your 10 free classes that were added to your account last week count as personal practice. As well as Niche on Demand videos! 

Teaching Hours
If you'd like to practice teaching at our studio, you can purchase packages here. Once you purchase your package you should be able to start scheduling your hours. As a reminder you are responsible for providing your client. If you have any issues please email education@nichefitstudio.com. These hours will take place in one of our private rooms during our studio available times.
